Dehumidification

Dehumidification can be done in several ways, using different techniques and different types of dehumidifiers. It involves removing the moisture from the air to lower the total amount of water in the air. And to do this in an energy-efficient way at the temperature you want in the room!

In general, to avoid damage from corrosion and mold, the relative humidity level should be kept below 55% RH at the desired room temperature.

Airwatergreen dehumidifiers are also equally effective at all moisture levels – from 20% RH to 100% RH. This is important to consider in hot spaces where there are cold surfaces such as cold pipes. If you want to avoid condensation, with the associated risk of moisture damage and corrosion of the cold pipes, you need to bring the moisture level down to sufficiently low levels.

The art of maintaining a stable climate in terms of both humidity and temperature is increasingly in demand. The challenge in summer is high temperature and lots of moisture in the air and in winter low temperatures and often too low moisture levels.
