CRAWL SPACE AND SPACES UNDER GUILDINGS
Moisture load in buidlings with a crawl space usually comes up from the soil in the ground. If the moisture level is too high, mould and bacterial growth soon will develop. Especially if there is organic material.
FLEX Can be set to be controlled against “mould index” (LIM1) which provides optimum control to the right moisture level depending on the temperature in the crawl space. FLEX has built in intelligence and can be connected to any monitoring system, both in order to be controlled but also to be able to feed data such as temperature and humidity levels.
The installation is simple due to the fact that we generate dry air in place and that the dry air is distributed in the space of the powerful built-in fan. No need for unnecessary ventilation pipes. Electricity supply of 220V is usually available in most cases and diversion of condensed water can be handled in different ways, for example, connecting to some floor drain that passes through the crawl ground.
Installation of a dehumidifier that takes down the humidity level to below 55% RH. The installation is simple due to the fact that the Airwatergreen dehumidifier generate dry air in place and that the dry air is distributed in the space of the powerful built-in fan.
BASEMENT AND UNDERGROUND STORAGE FACILITIES
Moisture in basements can either come from the ground, but also from poorly drained walls. With too high humidity levels in the basement spaces, both corrosion and mould can start. If the humidity level in the concrete is too high, there is also a risk that the reinforcement can begin to corrode, which can lead to the concrete being broken up.
FLEX and/or REX is suitably set against a relative humidity level below 55% RH to protect against corrosion and mould. The installation is simplified by the fact that
we generate dry air in place and that the dry air is distributed in the space of the powerful built-in fan. In this way there is no need for unnecessary ventilation pipes.
The product selection depends on the total moisture load and the dimensions of the building. In smaller to medium-sized spaces, the FLEX dehumidifier is the natural choice. If necessary, dew point sensors can be used to control FLEX against the right moisture level to avoid condensation on cold surfaces. Alternatively, the required relative humidity level (RH) is set so that the dehumidifier controls that level. FLEX Can be mounted on wall bracket or stand freely on the floor.
At installations in larger buildings and under ground with a higher humidity load it may be relevant to use the REX.
Both FLEX and REX can be connected to existing monitoring systems via Modbus.
