Background information

For much of the year, moist air enters cold stores even in northern Sweden. Moisture condensing on cold surfaces can lead to slipping accidents and other incidents, damage to packaging and unnecessary ice formation on refrigeration units.

During the summer, six REX dehumidifiers placed around the warehouse handled the moisture brought in by warm air entering the space. Now, two NEXT units have been installed, providing significantly higher total capacity and lower electricity consumption per kg of water removed from the air.
