Almi Uppsala has approved Airwatergreen as a recipient of a Green Loan, which benefits from support from the European Union under the InvestEU Fund and its Sustainability Guarantee.

The purpose of the European Union's Sustainability Guarantee is to support the green transition of small and medium-sized enterprises by stimulating green investments that are environmentally sustainable and contribute to one or more of the six environmental objectives of the EU Taxonomy. For an investment to be classified as sustainable, it must make a substantial contribution to one of the defined objectives in the EU Sustainability Taxonomy.

Airwatergreen's air treatment products contribute to a number of the EU's environmental goals—both by protecting critical infrastructure from moisture-related damage, thereby contributing to a more sustainable society, and by promoting a healthier indoor climate.
Airwatergreen's products are based on proprietary patented technology that provides a range of unique advantages. All products feature exceptionally low power consumption, high efficiency even at low temperatures, and are very easy to install. This applies to both the product family of dehumidifiers and the products that deliver a stable indoor climate. A stable indoor climate means maintaining consistent levels of both humidity and temperature regardless of external environmental changes, which is critical in many facilities such as hospitals, archives, and various production environments.

The dehumidifiers feature exceptionally low power consumption, with the supplied energy retained in the room. They also maintain low power consumption at low temperatures, enabling many customers to unheat and maintain lower temperatures in properties and premises that are infrequently used. This provides an opportunity to reduce energy consumption by up to 80% without exposing these facilities to moisture damage.

Several hundred Swedish churches have been able to utilize this opportunity, drastically reducing their energy consumption. We are now seeing the same development in other sectors, such as water and wastewater, with the thousands of pumping stations and other smaller buildings scattered across Sweden.

"We are very proud of this validation from Almi Uppsala confirming that our work and products contribute to a green transition! We enable our customers to reduce their energy consumption and carbon footprint, while also protecting vital investments and public health!", says Bo Tiderman, CEO of Airwatergreen.
