A test that led to a full installation
Background information
The brewery had recurring problems with condensation in its cold production and storage areas. Previously, sorption dehumidifiers were used, but energy consumption was high and the climate was difficult to control.
Procedure
Two NEXT units were installed during a trial period. During that time, moisture load, operating conditions, and actual capacity requirements were measured.
Outcome
The test led to the installation of a total of seven NEXT units, distributed across the two facilities. The NEXT units are controlled based on data from external dew point sensors and now maintain an optimal climate to prevent condensation on the cold surfaces of the cisterns.
