Data and how we handle it

Data refers to the information we hold and collect about you and how you use our products and services – in order to provide you with excellent deliveries, as well as relevant products and offers.

We collect data about you – customer data

Customer data is information linked to the products we deliver to you – such as name, address, email address, phone number, and personal identification number. It may also include information about the services you hold and how you use them, orders, user IDs, passwords, and other information provided during your interactions with us.

How we collect data

We collect and process data that:

• you provide yourself when your company becomes a customer with us and when you or a colleague communicates with us – such as when you purchase or rent our products, contact us for information, or subscribe to our news.
• we retrieve from other sources – such as publicly available personal registries like SPAR, registries used for credit assessments such as UC, as well as from other operators and partners.
• is collected through our web pages using cookies that gather information on and from your browser.

The information we collect about you depends on how the data has been gathered.

What we use the data for

To process data, there must be support in applicable data protection regulations, a so-called legal basis. This means that for our processing of your data to be lawful, it is required that it is necessary (1) to perform the contract with you, or (2) to fulfill a legal obligation for Airwatergreen. The processing of your data may also be carried out (3) following a balancing of interests, or (4) once you have given your consent to that specific processing.

To be able to provide services and products, we need to process and manage your data.

Below are examples of the purposes for which we process your data and the legal basis upon which we do so.

Delivery of products or services

We process data to identify you as a customer or user, to manage and deliver orders in accordance with your agreement, and to provide our products and services – e.g., to ensure the operation of the product. We also process data to charge for the products and services you use, to manage your invoices and payments, for credit assessment purposes, to troubleshoot and handle other incidents, and to handle complaints and claims.

Other communication regarding products or services

We also process data in connection with other communication with you, e.g., when we send information about and are in contact with you regarding matters concerning our products or services.

Direct marketing

We process various types of data in order to market our products and services directly to you. You may receive this via, for example, mail, telephone, SMS, and email. For this purpose, we may also compile statistics for analytical needs.

We process data for the purpose of ensuring the security of all our products and services, to detect or prevent various types of illegal use or use that otherwise violates the terms of the product or service.

About data

How long we retain them

We never retain data longer than necessary. Some data is discarded immediately, while other data is retained for varying periods depending on its intended use and our legal obligations.

Customer data is retained for as long as you are a customer of Airwatergreen and thereafter for a maximum of 24 months after the contractual relationship has ended. Exceptions apply to documentation that must be retained by law, such as the Swedish Bookkeeping Act.

To provide you with attractive market offers tailored to your needs, we store certain data. We retain this information for a period of 36 months.

To whom do we disclose data?

We do not disclose this information to any external parties outside of Airwatergreen Group AB.

We engage suppliers in various areas, and in some cases subsidiaries within the group, to deliver our services. This means they also require certain information about you as a customer. However, these parties are not permitted to use your data for any purpose other than providing the service or under the terms specified by us.

Authorities

We are obligated by law and official authority decisions to disclose data as required by such decisions – for example, to the police.

How we protect your data?

Our security operations encompass the protection of personnel, information, IT infrastructure, as well as office buildings and technical facilities.

Special attention is dedicated to information security regarding your data to prevent, deter, and detect unauthorized dissemination or loss. Access to your data is strictly limited to personnel who require it to perform their duties. We continuously work on combating spam and viruses.

You are in control of your data

Certain data processing is based on your consent. You always decide which processing activities you approve and whether you wish to withdraw your consent.

Note: To provide our services and products, we need to process and handle your data. However, you are under no obligation to provide your data to us. If you choose not to do so, we may not be able to provide all of our products and services to you.

About the AWG Control App

To delete your account from the AWG Control app, send an email to info@airwatergreen.com with the subject line "Delete Account AWG Control". Please ensure you send the email from the address registered in the app. In the message, kindly specify the email address associated with your account.

This information helps us verify your request and process the deletion as promptly as possible.
