Almi Uppsala has approved Airwatergreen as a recipient of a Green Loan which benefits from support from the European Union under the InvestEU fund and its Sustainability Guarantee.

The aim of the European Union Sustainability Guarantee is to support the green transition of SMEs by stimulating green investments that are environmentally sustainable and contribute to one or more of the six objectives of the EU taxonomy. For the investment to be classified as sustainable, it must make a significant contribution to one of the defined objectives of the EU taxonomy for sustainability.

Airwatergreen's air treatment products contribute to a number of EU environmental objectives, both by protecting critical infrastructure from moisture-related damage, thereby contributing to a more sustainable society, but also to a healthier indoor climate.
Airwatergreen's products are based on its own patented technology that provides a number of unique benefits. All products have a uniquely low electricity consumption, efficiency even at low temperatures and are very easy to install. This applies to both the dehumidifier product family and the products that deliver a stable indoor climate. The stable indoor climate means that a stable level of both humidity and temperature is maintained regardless of changes in the environment, which is important in many premises such as hospitals, archives and in various production environments.

The dehumidifiers have a very low electricity consumption where the energy supplied is maintained in the room. They also have low electricity consumption at low temperatures, which enables many customers to cool properties and premises that are rarely used. This provides an opportunity to reduce electricity consumption by up to 80%, without these premises suffering from moisture damage.

Several hundred Swedish churches have been able to take advantage of this opportunity and have thereby been able to reduce their electricity consumption dramatically. We are now seeing the same development in other areas such as Water and Sewerage with the thousands of pumping stations and other small buildings scattered around Sweden.

"We are very proud of this acknowledgment that we have received through Almi Uppsala that our work and our products contribute to a green transition! We enable our customers to reduce their electricity consumption and their CO2 impact. And we also protect important investments and people's health!", says Bo Tiderman CEO of Airwatergreen.
