Airwatergreen in line with EU low-carbon technology taxonomy

Airwatergreen's dehumidifiers are now in line with the EU taxonomy under "Manufacture of other low-carbon technologies". A strategic support for ESG reporting, green finance and sustainable procurement.

We are proud to announce that Airwatergreen's FLEX and NEXT dehumidifiers have NEXT been assessed as being in line with the EU taxonomy under the category "Manufacture of other low-carbon technologies."

This is clear evidence that our products are not only energy efficient - they are also verified as climate smart under one of the world's most ambitious sustainable business frameworks.

What does this mean for you as a customer?

If you are working on climate targets, sustainability reporting or public procurement, this is important news. The fact that our products are in line with the EU taxonomy means that:

  • Our technology meets the European Commission's environmental criteria
  • It qualifies as a low-carbon solution under Article 9 of the Sustainability Disclosure Regulation (SFDR)
  • It can facilitate access to green finance, especially in projects that require verified environmental benefits
  • It supports your ESG reporting and CSRD compliance

In short, choosing Airwatergreen is not just a technical decision. It is a strategic choice for climate responsibility and future-proofing.

Third party assessment with the support of our investor

Our investor, Nordic Alpha Partners (NAP ) - a growth fund with a strong focus on sustainability - recently initiated an independent review of Airwatergreen. The aim was to ensure that we meet the high standards of Article 9 of the EU taxonomy, which have now been confirmed.

Independent verification - real impact

Our assessment is based on a comprehensive and third-party audited Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), which shows that our dehumidifiers have a significantly lower climate impact than conventional alternatives.

A stronger offer for future customers

"Being in line with the EU taxonomy strengthens our role as a sustainable technology partner," says Bo Tiderman, CEO of Airwatergreen.
"It gives our customers a proven climate-smart choice - meeting both today's technical requirements and tomorrow's sustainability goals"
