Background information
The construction of the 10,000 square meter office building started in 2018 and occupancy is scheduled for the end of 2020/beginning of 2021. The aim is to reduce energy consumption according to schedule.
What problems did the Airwatergreen dehumidifier solve?
Airwatergreen dehumidifiers were used to lower and maintain the correct moisture level in the building during the construction process. They wanted to establish a significant reduction in energy consumption but also improve the climate in the building during the project.
Airwatergreen's dehumidifier technology allows the dehumidifier to work equally effectively at all different temperatures. The water is taken directly out of the air, which means that the air does not need to be ventilated. All energy supplied thus stays in the building, which means that the dehumidifier is very energy efficient.
Benefits of using awg products vs. doing nothing?
Traditionally, we often use different types of ventilation and/or heating of the air, during the construction process. This is to drive the moisture out of the building materials but also to keep the relative humidity (RH) level below 60% in the building. Ventilation and heating during the construction process is costly, not least because of the amount of energy that leaves the building.
In the next project we will use dehumidifiers, just like in the Celsius building, we will also lower the indoor temperature a couple of degrees so we can further reduce costs.
