Terkel Møller on smart dehumidification for industry

Read about Terkel Møller and how his expertise contributes to smart for industry. Learn more about how NEXT simplifies installation, reduces energy consumption, and effectively manages moisture problems.

What makes Terkel's expertise so valuable? We sat down with him to talk about his journey, the challenges the industry faces with moisture problems—and how NEXT is changing the way companies manage humidity.

A passion for problem solving

Terkel's path into moisture management was not straightforward.

"I started as a mechanical engineer, working on different types of mechanical equipment. One day a friend mentioned that the Danish company COTES was looking for an engineer. That's when I went from general mechanical engineering to dehumidification. It was a new challenge - one that I have been working on for over 15 years now."

Moisture control is more important than you think

One of the biggest problems with moisture is that it is often invisible - until it becomes costly.

"People don't always realize they have a moisture problem until it affects buildings, equipment or production. By the time they notice it, the damage has already been done. That's why understanding moisture management is crucial in many industries."

How the industry is changing

Terkel has seen the industry focus shift towards efficiency and cost control.

"Customers today focus much more on operating costs, energy consumption and ease of installation. Traditional dehumidification systems can be expensive and complicated to install. Companies are looking for smarter, more compact solutions that reduce costs without compromising performance."

A new way forward with NEXT technology

Terkel believes that Airwatergreen's NEXT technology is a real breakthrough.

NEXT up to 70% less energy than traditional sorption technology. It is also easier to install—no need for ventilation ducts and lower power requirements—making it ideal for industries with limited installation options.

Most common challenges - and how Airwatergreen makes a difference

All industries have their specific needs when it comes to moisture control. The most common challenges Terkel encounters are:

  • Finding the right place for installation - without major modifications
  • Dealing with sudden moisture spikes - without disrupting production
  • Ensuring sufficient electricity capacity - to cover additional needs
  • Justifying the investment - by showing long-term savings

"My goal is to help companies understand how much they can actually save - not only in energy costs, but also by preventing damage and inefficiency."

Moving forward: helping businesses move towards smart dehumidification

“I look forward to helping more companies discover Airwatergreen’s solutions. The combination of low energy consumption, easy installation, and smart NEXT strong alternative to traditional methods. I really look forward to more industries making the switch.”
